Eden Wedding Barn, December Winter Wedding. Jo + Rich.

The last wedding of 2019, and what a way to end the year! We drove up to Eden Wedding Barn in the Yorkshire Dales for Jo + Rich’s day on the 21st December. There was snow in the clouds and the temperature was around freezing, the rain kept coming and going in flurries. But despite the weather Jo + Rich had the most fun filled, happy day.

Rich chose to get married at the cosy pub and accommodation The Black Swan just up the road and Jo and her family had rented out the holiday cottages just opposite Eden Barn Wedding Venue. They got married at the teeny tiny country church St Theobald, Musgrave right next to the River Eden. It was a wonderful sanctuary from the cold elements as all the guests, family and friends rushed in and bunkered inside this tiny church.

Their party was held at Eden Wedding Barn, they had hired a caricaturist which made for some amazing entertainment during the drinks reception and ended with possibly the best wedding band we’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing perform. Jo + Rich braved the freezing wind for the couples portraits which made Jo’s veil look unreal, we just wandered around the grounds of Eden Wedding Barn finding little corners to shoot in.

A beautiful wedding we will never forget, especially the drive home in the snow!
