Yorkshire Elopement Photography - Sian + Andy.
Yes, this is another 2020 micro wedding! Sian and Andy still got married on their original date in 2020 but changed their wedding plans all but the date entirely. Originally they planned a big wedding and party at the lovely venue of Woolas Barn, Appleton Roebuck. But instead, they enjoyed an intimate ceremony and exchanged their legal vows at the historic Harrogate registry office on a beautiful misty autumn morning, accompanied by their closest friends and family. They all went for a family meal and then headed up to Marsden Moor for their cake cutting, champagne and photos, it was such a spectacular place to enjoy a cake even if the wind was blowing!
Sian wore a chic jumpsuit and jacket and changed into more practical shoes for her cake cutting and adventure photo session on the moorland. We managed to walk around empty roads and explore loads of amazing locations taking in all of the autumn colours of the moorland landscape during their couples portrait adventure session, Sian and Andy braved the chilly Yorkshire weather and enjoyed some quiet time together in the amazing hills. We are so grateful to Sian and Andy for keeping us as their wedding photographers even after their plans had downscaled. They are still looking forward to a big party with all of their guests in the future!
If your wedding plans have to change again, think about how you could downscale and still enjoy a really special celebration with your nearest and dearest. It could include eating cake at the top of a hill, having a picnic in the woodland with your family or running off to the mountains of Scotland just you two. You can create something that is totally unique and special to you guys. More than ever we need the positivity and events like this to look forward to. Please send us an email or chat to us if you’re thinking of organising an intimate wedding, we would love to hear about your plans.
